This Privacy Policy explains how Polycrunch Tech Private Limited ("Gigavent", "we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Gigavent app and website. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email, phone number, and profile details.
• Host verification (KYC): for Hosts, government-issued ID (such as Aadhaar and PAN) and bank account details, collected to verify identity and enable payouts.
• Booking & payment information: events you book and host. Card and payment details are handled directly by our payment partner, Razorpay — Gigavent does not store your full card details.
• Location: approximate location (with your permission) to show events near you.
• Content: messages and media you share in event group chats.
• Usage data: device and app-usage information to keep the service secure and improve it.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the Platform — showing events, processing bookings, issuing tickets, and enabling chats.
• To verify Host identity and process payouts securely.
• To process payments and refunds through Razorpay.
• To keep the Platform safe and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To send you service-related notifications (such as booking confirmations).

3. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the service: with our payment partner (Razorpay) to process payments; with Hosts, limited to what is necessary to manage your booking (such as your name on the guest list); and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data security

Sensitive documents such as identity proofs are stored privately with restricted access and are used only for verification. Payments are processed over encrypted, PCI-DSS-compliant infrastructure via Razorpay.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which removes your personal data subject to legal retention requirements. To exercise any right, contact us below.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

7. Children

Gigavent is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
