Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Polycrunch Tech Pvt Ltd (“Polycrunch”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Gigavent mobile application (the “App”). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to run the App and its features:

| Chat messages and photos | To deliver your messages and shared images to the event group chats you participate in. |
We do not collect payment card details in the App; if payments are processed, they are handled by the payment provider and we receive only a confirmation of the transaction.
2. How your data is stored
Your data is stored on Supabase, our hosting and database provider, which provides the Postgres database, authentication and file storage behind the App. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access is restricted by row-level security rules so that you can only read and write your own records and the group chats you belong to.
3. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account.
- To let you discover events, book tickets and view your bookings.
- To operate event group chats, including delivering messages and photos.
- To send push notifications you have opted in to.
- To respond to support requests and to prevent fraud, spam and abuse.
4. We do not sell your data
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information to advertisers, data brokers or any other third party.
We share data only with service providers who help us run the App (such as Supabase for hosting and the push notification services operated by Apple, Google and Expo), and only to the extent needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid legal request.
5. Data retention and account deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App — open the Profile tab and tap Delete account at the bottom. Deleting your account removes your profile, photo, login, tickets, saved events, reviews, push notification tokens and your messages. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you host events, cancel any published event before deleting so ticket holders hear it from you first.
If you would prefer us to delete your account on your behalf, email support@polycrunch.com from the address registered to your account and we will action the request.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent for location access or push notifications at any time through your device settings. Contact us at support@polycrunch.com to exercise these rights.
7. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the App or by email, and the “last updated” date above will change.
9. Governing law
This Privacy Policy and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
